The Learning Series — We are all struggling
We all appear completely different on the outside, everyone is more or less struggling with the same sets of problems. The contexts change and the cultures are varied and everyone’s life stories are inevitably different but there are such commonalities that makes them normal struggles and anxieties of the human condition.
This commonality happens across wealth conditions which means we have these problems whether we are ‘rich’ or ‘poor’. It is amazing to discover that even the rich have financial problems.
People seem to broadly have problems in 4 areas those being — finance, love, health and purpose. There is something beneficial when problems are thought of in this way. That our problems are not unique or special. While our values, cultures, and life circumstances change — our core struggles as humans remain the same.
The problem is thinking that life will be without problems. Living a good life is not living a life without problems. Living a good life comes from acknowledging, facing, and then transcending each problem. Those that overcome seem to think of problems differently and have a unique mentality that allows them to handle challenges differently. Rather than seeing problems as burdensome forces of opposition, they see problems as opportunities to learn, grow, improve, or adjust in a way that leaves them better off than before the problem existed.
